Security & Privacy
How we protect your workspace and client data.
This page explains our practical security approach in plain language. The Privacy Policy remains the legal description of how information is processed.
Account and access protection
- Authentication is required for private system areas.
- Access controls isolate each user’s records and restrict service operations.
- Administrative access should be limited to authorized support and operational needs.
Data in transit and storage
Production traffic uses HTTPS encryption. Database and platform providers apply infrastructure protections and access controls. Sensitive credentials and integration tokens must not be exposed in public pages or client-side logs.
Workspace and integrations
Client names, contact details, notes, and lead activity are private workspace data. Connected services such as Meta or WhatsApp only process the permissions and information needed for enabled features.
Your role
Use a unique password, protect your devices, sign out from shared devices, and only upload client information you are permitted to process. Report suspected security issues to support@refreelancer.com.
